Methods and Challenges of Collaboration with Experts in Specialized Domains

This questionnaire was developed as part of the E.XPER.T project (Echanges et eXPERtises en Terminologie).

It is a meta-research project that aims to better delineate the notion of “expert” and to gain a clearer understanding of how linguists, terminologists, and knowledge engineers interact with experts from specialized domains targeted by scientific research and/or terminological work.

The project is led by Anne Condamines and is conducted within the CLLE laboratory – Cognition, Langues, Langage, Ergonomie (UMR 5263, CNRS & Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès).

For more information, please visit the project website.

For any questions related to this survey, you may contact the project collaborators by email at the following addresses:

Are you a linguist who has worked on specialized domains?

Are you a terminologist, a translator or a knowledge engineer?

Take part in this survey and help us establish a state of the art of research practices in specialized domains.

The questionnaire takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

Thank you for the time you are dedicating to this research.
